We responded to the offer of Olexandr Dovzhenko National Film Studio to shoot a story about Mykola Vingranovsky. Ukrainian poet who stood against Soviet totalitarianism.
Filmed it in a certain time shortage, for making it on time for the conference dedicated to Vingranovsky.
We based our story on the memories of the director Alexander Muratov, who was a good friend of Vingranovsky.
By the way, Vingranovsky was also an actor and director. Alexander Dovzhenko noticed the young artist and took him under his protection.
